THE BOAT SHED CAFÉ

Our cafe opened in 2019 and is a popular for snacks, lunch, cakes and coffee roasted in the Scottish Highlands. As you can see from this page we cater for all dietary needs and pay special attention to ways to protect and preserve the environment.

Plan your boat trip to include a stop at the café, you can also pick up a picnic to take with you.

LUNCH

We serve a range of grilled sandwiches and toasties, with the option of brown, white or gluten-free bread, with regular, vegetarian or vegan fillings.

We have a large range of cakes to choose from, These usually include regular, vegan and gluten-free varieties.

We have selected local gifts available to purchase at the cafe. Pick up a souvenir of your visit to Loch Goil.

 

RED SQUIRRELS

We now sell bird and squirrel feed, look out for beautiful red squirrels scurrying around outside the café. Thankfully their numbers are growing.

 

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

  • All our takeaway products are compostable, even the lids and spoons

  • We don’t offer single-serving sachets

  • We don’t sell individually wrapped snacks (unless compostable or GF)

  • Our crisps come in compostable bags

  • We never serve straws with drinks

  • We only supply soft drinks in a can or a glass

  • Bring your own cup and we’ll give you a discount

  • We use loose leaf tea, not teabags

  • Our greaseproof sheets are compostable

  • We use environmentally friendly cleaning products where we can

  • Our napkins are compostable
