Terms & Conditions

Here is some important information, terms and conditions about your boat hire from Loch Goil Cruisers. Please read this carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

About the Boats

Each boat comfortably seats up to eight people for cruising, but we recommend only four for fishing. Please be aware that our boats are ‘cruising dayboats – not specifically designed for fishing nor speed.

Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to moor up and leave the boat for picnicking so on-board picnics only and no disposable BBQs – we sell a variety of snacks and drinks.

Safety Equipment & Compliance

We supply life jackets, chart and emergency equipment.

We reserve the right to refuse access if we consider anyone in a group to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Arrival

Please arrive a few minutes early to fit life jackets and complete registration details.

If you are running late on the day, please let us know as we reserve the right to re-let your boat to another customer if you do not arrive on time.

If you do arrive late, the full fee will still stand and you will be expected to return the boat at the pre-arranged ‘end time’ for the next booking to go out on time.

Briefing

NO previous boating experience is required. Instructions will be given on the use of equipment before you take over the boat. Your booked slot includes the time it takes to instruct you on handling.

Return of boats and equipment

There is an expectation that all rods, tackle, equipment and boats come back in the state they were hired, to receive full refunds. Boats must be brought back on time as this affects the following booking.

Large Groups

Large groups requiring more than one boat will be required to make payment up-front and will need to supply an organisers name and address.

Deposits for large groups will be reimbursed as soon as we have had a chance to check the boats and all the equipment, after your visit. This will be no later than 24 hours via the method used to pay us initially.

★★★★★

Wonderful 3-hour trip, time enough to go all the way to the end of Loch Goil and into Long Long, and back. Saw lots of wildlife. The boats have some cover if it rains and feel very stable.
